1984-89 Corvette - Symptoms: Intermittent or Dark. Cluster kills battery after a few days. Sorry we cannot repair Corvette clusters where the displays are "sunburnt". A normal cluster display should look black when the vehicle is off. If it is sunburnt you will see color through the displays as in the photo below - if yours looks like this or similar to this with the car off, your cluster is sunburnt.

2002-2003-2004 Volvo S Series, V Series, XC Series Instrument Cluster (DIM) - Symptoms: Intermittent or no operation. We now have a simulator to bench test cluster operation. These clusters will not come alive without proper computer signal making repair verification impossible. We now have simulation software and hardware to verify proper operation after repair. Any repair facility that is trying to repair these clusters without simulation is flying blind. Please consider us!
2004 Volvo S40 Instrument Cluster - Symptoms: Intermittent or no speedometer operation - odometer does not count miles when speedometer not working.

Also note: If the 1998, 99 Frontier Cluster has been tampered with we may not be able to repair it - specifically, attempting to pull off the speedometer or any other gauge needle will damage the meter movement beyond repair. If unit has not been tampered with, we can repair it. Before sending it anywhere else for possible repair ask them if they have the "reconfiguration code" - if they don't know what you are talking about, your next step is to call us - we have the code.
